Why it works.

Ok so some big news at SDCC 2013 was that Zack Snyder officially announced that Batman was going to be in Man of Steel 2. And the fans actually were quite excited. But here's why people think it won't work and its just a stupid idea that's gonna fuck up not only Man of Steel, but also The Justice League movie.

Where's Batman's buildup? Where is his story? Why is he being introduced in Man of Steel 2, and as the antihero/antagonist (The Dark Knight Returns based story arc)? So the fans think that it's a bad idea to do this because we don't know Batman's story. And this is where I tell you to shut the fuck up because its actually an amazing idea. Okay so it might have something to do with me being a HUGE fan of Batman and me just wanting to see him in a Superman movie, but here's why it actually; honesty works.

Man of Steel would BE the Batman buildup. It introduces the character. It would show that another man, a billionare from a different city, doesnt approve of an alien living with humans It would show that Batman doesn't trust Superman because he is the same being as the megalomaniac Zod, who destroyed the shit out of Metropolis (along with Supes). He hears about it and wants to stop Superman with some help from Lex Luthor (which would be fucking awesome). Just a suggestion, but it would be awesome. Lex decides to help and BOOM we have a kick ass Superman/Batman movie. So in my opinion, Man of Steel 2 is a good way to introduce Batman to the DC Cinematic Universe. And even after Man of Steel 2, if fans are not pleased because they're fucking idiots, THEN  a Batman movie could be released to show that Batman has problems in the DC Cinematic Universe too.

And in THAT Batman movie, cause The Dark Knight Trilogy is NOT a part of the DC Cinematic Universe unfortunately, they could introduce Wonder Woman. Then a Wonder Woman movie could be released and in that Wonder Woman movie, Green Lantern or The Flash could be introduced. And so on with Justice League members being introduced until finally in 2020-2025 The Justice League movie would come out and Marvel could finally have a competitor. Cause honestly speaking, a Justice League movie is far from now. They have to build up all the members, and Warner Brothers have been to busy jerking each other off.

So yea there you have it. I think Batman in Man of Steel 2 is not only an awesome idea, but a kick ass way to introduce the character of Batman. And it's based of of The Dark Knight Returns, in which Batman kicks Supermans ass! That's why Lex Luthor should be in it, because as much as I love Batman, I know he can not beat Superman to save his life.
